Using the Batch Product Editor

The Batch Product Editor makes it easier to find and update product details from one screen.

Open the Batch Product Editor

• Go to Inventory, then open the Inventory Dashboard.
• Find the Tools section.
• Select Batch Product Editor.

Find the products you want to edit

• Use Product Attribute to search for product information such as a product name or description.
• Use Tag Number to find a product associated with a specific tag.
• Narrow the list by project, warehouse, category, or subcategory.
• Use the available options to show sets, available products, products with only one item remaining, or products with multiple items available.
• Choose a sorting option to change the order of the results.
• Select Reset Filters to clear your filters and start over.

Edit a product

• Find the product in the results and select Edit.
• Update any of the available fields:
  • Product name
  • Description
  • Default commerce status
  • Default item condition
  • Purchase price
  • Retail value
  • Rental price
  • Sale price
• Select Save for that product.
• Repeat these steps for each additional product you want to update.

Helpful tips

• Apply filters before editing to keep the results focused and easier to review.
• Save each product after making changes. The editor does not apply one change to every product at once.
• Review commerce status, condition, and pricing carefully before saving.
• Open the product name if you need to view its full product page.
