Why isn't my data showing on my analytics page?
Why Are My Business Analytics Showing 0 Data?
If your Business Analytics dashboard is showing 0 for metrics like Projects Completed, Average Contract Amount, or other totals, it usually means projects have not been fully closed out in Stageforce.
Common Reasons Analytics Show 0 Data
1. Project is not marked Completed
To be counted in analytics, the project should use the Completed sub-status.
Projects marked Lost are tracked separately in the Win/Loss section.
2. Missing Destage Date
The dashboard uses the Destage Date to determine when a project was completed and where it belongs on the timeline.
If no destage date is entered, the project may not appear in reporting.
3. Project is Still in an Active Status
If a project is still marked as Design, Staged, or another active status, it will not count as completed until it has been formally closed.
Best Practice ✨
Before closing a project, make sure any final financial details have been entered.
How to Properly Close Out a Project
Step 1: Open the Project
Go to the project record you’d like to close.
Step 2: Set the Sub-Status to Completed
Update the sub-status to Completed.
Step 3: Confirm These Dates Are Filled In
• Stage Date – when the property was staged
• Destage Date – when staging was removed
• Contract Start Date – used for Avg Days Staged calculations
Step 4: For Full Analytics, Also Fill In:
• Contract Amount – contributes to Avg Contract and Total Contract values
• Sales Price – contributes to Avg Sold Price and Sold vs. List Price
• MLS Listing Date and Offer Accepted Date – contributes to Avg Days to Offer
• Price Estimate (List Price) – contributes to Sold vs. List Price comparison
Step 5: Change Main Status to Closed
Once everything is complete, update the main project status to Closed.
