Tagging Guide

SUPPLIES NEEDED

STAGEFORCE STORE (Stageforce Store) – will give details of all the products.

• RFID Tags – Contain metal antenna picked up by RFID Reader
• Fabric Adhesive Labels – Place on fabric items with RFID on top
• Plastic Tag Sleeves – hold tags to zip tie to products
• RFID Reader
  NOTE: You CAN use Stageforce without the RFID tags and reader. You can apply any unique tag you wish on the products.

TAGGING KIT – Supplies needed for tagging products

• Tape Measure – measure Products
• Clear Packing Tape – Place over tags on porous or uneven surfaces
• Scissors – Cut Fabric Adhesive Labels and ends of zip ties
• Zip Ties – Attach Clear Plastic Sleeves to lamp cords, Outdoor furniture, etc.
• Permanent Marker – write tag number on Products
• Neon Adhesive Labels – used to label bed sizes and write tag number on wrapped products
• Small Envelopes – used to hold assigned RFID tags – tape envelope to boxes of product in not yet unpacked

BEST PRACTICES

• NEVER cut the tag. Cutting the tag breaks the RFID encoding and it will no longer detect when you use the reader.
• Always use a clear plastic sleeve and a zip tie for outdoor items.
• Use our Fabric Adhesive labels to adhere the RFID tag to the underside of rugs, linens, or any other soft goods.
• Use the Metal/Glass tags on metal and/or highly reflective glass.
