Whole products and Sets

CONFIGURE PRODUCT TYPE – WHOLE OR SET – MUST BE CONFIRMED

1. WHOLE PRODUCT – Is to be chosen when the product stands alone and does not require any additional parts
2. SET – A group of parts that only when assembled or grouped together become a complete product. ie. Bed (headboard, footboard, right rail, left rail), Nesting tables (Large table, small table), Table that requires specific glass (table frame, custom glass). Choosing set allows you to list all parts which will show on the Crew Report pick list.

To Configure a Whole Product choose the Whole Product and click CONFIRM:

• Choose RFID Tags (Main Warehouse will be the tag’s location default it can be edited at this point if needed).
  
  
  
• Add Categories and Subcategories
  
  

  To Configure A Set choose the Product Set and click CONFIRM:

  
  
  
• Add Parts by clicking +New Part
• Name Part – ie Headboard
• Add Quantity per set (how many of this piece needed to create the whole product, in the case of a bed it would be 1).
• Click Create Part
• 
• Click +New Part – Add Name and Quantity – ie. Footboard
• Click +New Part – Add Name and Quantity – ie. Left Rail
• Click +New Part – Add Name and Quantity – ie. Right Rail
• 
• 
• Add a Category and Subcategories
• 
• Now that this bed is a Set when it is Selected for a Listing all of its parts will be added to the cart along with it!
• 
  The parts are also listed on the Crew Report so when you pick the products from the warehouse you don’t forget any pieces.
  
  

  The Configure page also allows you to add the product to and/or create a Collection, view the Details you have input, Flag a product with concerns, and view the item’s History. This page is also an automatic save.

  Helpful Hint: You can create a product using any device using a web browser to access Stageforce.
